Chris McKelvey was admitted to practice in Queensland in 1977. He has broad legal experience, emphasising property law, including commercial, residential and family property, business and succession law, civil litigation, including accident injury law and publishing law in state and federal jurisdictions.
​
Chris has enjoyed combining professional practice with academic work in Australia and New Zealand, lastly as a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland's TC Beirne School of Law. He has held various Commonwealth Statutory appointments and is a legal member of the Commonwealth Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

Sarah Miller was admitted to practice in 2010 and is an experienced commercial and property lawyer. Prior to working at McKelvey Lawyers, Sarah worked as Corporate Counsel for a large international franchise company and as a commercial property lawyer for various law firms across Brisbane.

We are located 2km from the CBD with easy transport options and available parking.
Our building is located next to the National Australia Bank and Toowong Shopping Village. Parking is available in the Toowong Shopping Village and opposite our building in the Woolworths carpark. Please be aware that parking restrictions and charges apply if you park for longer than two hours. Toowong Railway Station is located in the Toowong Shopping Village and the nearest bus stop is a two minute walk. Our building is serviced by lift access. Should you have mobility issues we can with prior arrangement visit you.
